Job summary

TheCorporate is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily aerospace manufacturing and multi-axis CNC machining operations. You will lead the shop-floor team to meet production schedules, maintain AS9100 quality standards, tight tolerances, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has extensive CNC supervision experience in aerospace and a strong hands-on machining background, with a track record of enforcing quality and safety across the plant.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience over CNC machining departments.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is MUST HAVE.
• Production Supervisor experience is MUST HAVE.
• CNC machining supervision experience.
• Multi-axis CNC machining experience.
• Experience managing/leading machinists.
• Basic blueprint reading.
• GD&T knowledge.
• Hands-on machining experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shop-floor activities across manufacturing departments.
• Oversee CNC machining operations for aerospace engine components.
• Direct, train, mentor, and hold machinists accountable.
• Monitor employee productivity, efficiency, and utilization.
• Ensure production schedules and sales goals are achieved.
• Partner with Quality Control to prioritize and schedule required parts.
• Enforce quality standards and support a zero-defect production culture.
• Maintain OSHA safety requirements and proper handling of exotic aerospace alloys.
• Track daily production metrics and scrap rates.
• Maintain material traceability through the ERP system.
• Identify and resolve production and machining issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
