Jobot is hiring a CNC Machinist in the Santa Clarita area to contribute to state-of-the-art aerospace components. You will operate CNC tools, program tool paths with AutoCAD/SolidWorks, and perform sheet metal fabrication in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of CNC Machinist experience, aerospace preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software including AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Extensive experience with CNC machine tools, including lathes and mills.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques (bending, cutting, forming).
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering plans, and GD&T.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and adherence to safety regulations.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting complex blueprints and GD&T to create precision aerospace components.
• Operating and maintaining CNC tools (lathes, mills, grinders) to produce parts.
• Using CAD/CAM software to design and program tool paths.
• Utilizing hand tools for fabrication and assembly of components.
• Performing sheet metal fabrication (bending, cutting, forming).
• Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment for safety and performance.
• Collaborating with engineering to improve processes and designs.
• Troubleshooting and resolving machine issues.
• Maintaining accurate records of work and materials.
• Adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
