GE Aerospace Greenville site is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to manufacture complex engine components using exotic aerospace alloys on the latest CNC and non-CNC machines in a clean, air-conditioned facility. You will participate in a self-directed team to identify and implement process improvements that enhance quality and streamline product flow.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of full-time manufacturing experience with manual or CNC machining (milling/turning/lasering/grinding).
• Associate degree or higher in manufacturing/engineering with graduation from machinist or toolmaker apprenticeship/certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-ups, tool changes, offsets, and run production on CNC and non-CNC machines.
• Identify and implement Lean-based process improvements to reduce setup times and improve quality/throughput.
• Must perform precision work to exacting tolerances.
• Read and understand process operation sheets, tooling sheets, and tech plans.
