Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Simi Valley, CA seeks a CNC Lathe Machinist to produce parts to drawing specifications. The role is onsite at a Regal Rexnord facility and requires setting up CNC lathes, performing first article inspection, and maintaining tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of lathe experience, uses inspection tools, understands feeds and speeds, and can work with lean manufacturing practices. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage, 401k and paid time off.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years experience operation set-up on CNC lathes.
• Skilled in the use of indicator, gauge, dial bores, and plate inspection methods for first article and in-process inspection of precision machined parts.
• Ability to maintain close tolerances (within .0005") of ID's and OD's, roundness, concentricity, squareness.
• Understanding of machine tool accuracies, fixture offsets, and tool offsets.
• Knowledge of cutting tool feeds, speeds, and tool life for aerospace hard turning or milling.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and interpret blue print and quality requirements.
• Ability to communicate with employees and management in a positive manner.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs (over 25 lbs with assistance).

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Pay Range $27 - $37/hr. DOE

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

CNC Lathe machinist is responsible for producing work in the most efficient manner while meeting the drawing/planning specification /requirements.
