Job summary

Vivace International Corporation in New Orleans, LA, seeks an Aerospace Machinist – Level 2 to independently set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual equipment to produce precision aerospace components.

You will read complex blueprints, perform in-process inspections, mentor Level 1 machinists, and ensure compliance with aerospace standards. 40+ hour weeks; ITAR requires U.S. person.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; accredited machinist program preferred.
• 2–5 years machining experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing.
• Ability to set up and operate CNC equipment independently.
• Interpret GD&T and read precise blueprints with accuracy.
• Proficient with precision measurement instruments.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program (basic), and operate CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Read, interpret, and apply complex blueprints and work instructions.
• Select tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters for tasks.
• Perform in-process inspections with precision measurement tools.
• Mentor Level 1 machinists and document work performed.
