Job summary

Aerotek in Anaheim, CA is hiring CNC Machinists of all experience levels for a contract-to-hire role in aerospace manufacturing. 1st and 2nd shifts are available with overtime; you will operate lathes and mills, set up tools, load programs, interpret blueprints, and assist with fixture preparation.

The position offers hands-on training, exposure to Haas machines, and a clear path to lead machinist or CNC programmer roles within a stable aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC operation or setup encouraged to apply.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Basic inspection skills using calipers and other measuring tools.
• Willingness to work 1st or 2nd shift with regular overtime.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Motivation to learn and grow into higher-level machining roles.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines (lathes and mills) to produce aerospace components.
• Set up tools, load programs, set offsets, and assist fixture prep.
• Interpret engineering blueprints and work orders.
• Perform in-process and final inspections with calipers and measurement tools.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust to maintain accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and support continuous improvement.
