Job summary

Precision Aero Company, a Novaria Company, is seeking experienced CNC Lathe Machinists for the night shift to manufacture aerospace components such as aircraft wheels, brakes, fasteners, fuse plugs, and other flight hardware.

Qualified candidates will have hands-on CNC lathe experience with setup abilities, the capability to read blueprints and GD&T, and strong attention to detail to maintain tight tolerances and high-quality finishes. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC lathe machining and setup experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, gauges, and work instructions.
• Strong math skills including decimal calculations and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate horizontal CNC lathes to produce precision parts meeting specifications.
• Perform turning, reaming, boring, facing, and threading operations.
• Read blueprints and work instructions to determine tooling needs and operation sequence.
• Maintain close tolerances and required surface finishes.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify part quality.
• Identify machining issues and contribute to process improvements.
• Meet quality and productivity standards while following safety procedures with PPE.
