Job summary

Cascade Engineering Technologies is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer in Canby, OR, to develop and maintain inspection programs for aerospace components. You will operate CMMs, interpret GD&T, and perform FAIs per AS9102, driving quality and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CMM programming in manufacturing, aerospace preferred.
• Associate degree or higher in Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Experience with PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS or equivalent for CMM programming.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and maintain CMM inspection programs for aerospace components.
• Program and operate CMMs to inspect complex machined parts.
• Interpret drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) per AS9102.
• Analyze inspection results and communicate findings to Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.
• Troubleshoot and optimize CMM programs to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records using company systems.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
