Job summary

BETA Technologies, based in Vermont, seeks an experienced Quality Inspector to perform CMM-based dimensional inspections on aerospace components. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and Design Engineering teams to improve inspection processes and ensure conformance to GD&T prints.

Qualifications

• 1 year QC experience in aerospace or comparable industry.
• Experience with GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2018).
• Experience with hand gages (micrometers, dial indicators, profilometers).
• Experience with an ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Use a CMM to perform dimensional inspections on aerospace components.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and Design Engineering teams to improve inspection processes.
• Provide technical expertise and involvement with machining process development and quality verification.
• Operate multiple CMMs supporting various processes and products.
• Provide formatted reports for engineering, CNC programs and operators.
• Inspect to prints developed with GD&T standards.
• Re-validate legacy CMM programs and develop probing/fixturing solutions.
