Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Chemical Clean Trainee. The role processes metal assemblies through chemical cleaning and clean room operations using water, solvents, and alkaline solutions to meet aerospace cleanliness standards.

Requires ability to perform baths, drying, inspections, and to follow safety and quality procedures. Education includes an Associate degree or equivalent, or 6 months to 1 year related experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or six months to one year related experience or training.
• Basic understanding of chemical cleaning processes and safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment with attention to quality.

Responsibilities

• Hazardous Waste handling, coordinating, and shipments.
• Performs a variety of chemical processing tests on baths.
• Chem Clean and Clean Room maintenance & scheduling.
• Participates in Research & Development Testing.
• Completes inspections of assemblies and components to ensure quality of standards are met.
• Requests quotes, purchases chemicals and supplies.
• Mixes tanks.
• Train/Cross train new Chem Clean & Clean Room Operators.
• Records and maintains documentation of test results and data into computer & logs.
