Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a CAPEX & Indirect Buyer to support procurement for a fast-paced aerospace and defense manufacturing environment. This role sources, negotiates, and manages capital equipment and indirect spend including machines, tooling, IT, and services.

The ideal candidate has supplier management experience, works well cross-functionally, and drives cost savings while ensuring quality, delivery, and compliance. Strong Excel and ERP/MRP skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 1+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or regulated industries.
• Experience sourcing CAPEX equipment and indirect spend categories.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

• Source CAPEX and indirect materials/services for aerospace/defense manufacturing.
• Manage RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, bid analysis, negotiations, and contracts.
• Procure manufacturing equipment, tooling, and facilities-related services.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Facilities, Quality, Finance, and Program Management to support objectives.
• Develop supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
