Beehive Industries in Loveland, Ohio, is seeking a CAPEX & Indirect Buyer to source, negotiate, and manage procurement for capital equipment and indirect spend in a regulated aerospace environment.

The role requires supplier management skills, experience in regulated manufacturing, and the ability to drive cost savings while ensuring compliance, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience in purchasing or procurement in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or regulated industries.
• Ability to read statements of work and equipment specifications.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and procurement for CAPEX and indirect materials/services.
• Manage RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, bid analysis, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Procure manufacturing equipment, tooling, automation, facilities services, and indirect supplies.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Facilities, Quality, Finance, and Program Management.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, service agreements, and long-term supply arrangements.
• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
• Support capital project planning and procurement for facility expansions and upgrades.
• Support audits and government contracting compliance (AS9100, ISO).

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CAPEX & Indirect Buyer to support procurement activities for a fast-paced aerospace and defense manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing capital equipment purchases and indirect spend categories including machines, facilities, tooling, IT, professional services, and manufacturing support equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess some supplier management skills, experience with regulated manufacturing environments, and the ability to drive cost savings while ensuring quality, delivery, and compliance requirements are met.

What You’ll Do...

• Sourcing and procurement activities for capital expenditures (CAPEX) and indirect materials/services
• Manage RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, bid analysis, negotiations, and contract execution
• Procure manufacturing equipment, tooling, automation systems, facilities-related services, and indirect operational supplies
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Facilities, Quality, Finance, and Program Management teams to support business objectives
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, service agreements, and long-term supply arrangements
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure performance in quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness
• Support capital project planning and procurement execution for facility expansions, production line improvements, and equipment upgrades
• Identify and execute cost reduction, process improvement, and supply chain risk mitigation initiatives
• Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and sourcing documentation within ERP/MRP systems
• Support audits and documentation requirements related to AS9100, ISO standards, and government contracting compliance.

You have...

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 1+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or highly regulated industries
• Experience sourcing CAPEX equipment and indirect spend categories
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills
• Strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
• Ability to read and interpret statements of work, and equipment specifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement analytics
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issues security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance
