Gulfstream Aerospace in St. Louis is seeking a Cabinet Finisher IV to prepare, apply, and touch up finishes on aircraft furniture and specifications.

You will assist the lead, oversee projects, and mentor teammates while maintaining safety, quality, and Lean initiatives in a fast-paced shop environment. The role requires 4 years of cabinet finishing experience, advanced finishing knowledge, and a readiness to work on aircraft interiors in an aerospace setting.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 4 years of experience in wood finishing processes.
• Advanced knowledge of cabinet finishing processes; aerospace experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Performs complex high-quality repairs to finished surfaces of aircraft furniture and applies finish using spray equipment.
• Interprets material specifications to ensure design and engineering requirements are met with high quality and detail.
• Mentors and trains other Cabinet Finishers; works to develop process improvements using Lean Six-Sigma tools.
• Uses material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and sign-off work.
