Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled furniture finisher to prepare and finish aircraft interiors. You will work under supervision to apply finishes to furniture using spray equipment and hand tools, ensuring top quality for aircraft delivery.

The role requires 2 years of wood finishing experience and basic cabinet finishing knowledge, with aerospace familiarity preferred. Strong safety and documentation practices are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years experience in wood finishing.
• Experience in aerospace industry preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare furniture for finish and disassembly using blueprints and specifications.
• Perform high quality repairs to finished surfaces and polish blemishes for delivery.
• Apply finish to furniture using spray equipment and hand tools.
• Use sandpapers, polishes, masking mediums, solvents and finish materials to complete work.
• Follow safety, 5S and housekeeping policies and wear PPE.
• Sign off work and track parts in the system.
• Collaborate with lead technicians to improve processes using Lean Six-Sigma.
