Job summary

Archer Aviation Inc. is seeking a Buyer in a fast-paced aerospace environment to turn purchase requests into ordered, received, and inventoried material.

You will work with Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance embedded with program teams to meet aggressive production milestones. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Business or Supply Chain, SAP ERP experience, and the ability to operate onsite with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain required.
• Experience with SAP ERP or other MRP system.
• Ability to work onsite and embed with engineering/manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders for aircraft material per SAP MRP and build schedule.
• Manage ordering activity for aircraft material and indirect purchases including transfers and returns.
• Own the accuracy and timely closure of all open purchase orders, driving cycle time to hours.
• Translate urgent material needs into purchases with engineering and program teams.
• Execute non-PO purchasing (P-Card and emergency orders) per cost centers.
• Inventory received parts and notify owners when goods are available for pickup.
• Drive PO approvals to completion and follow up with stakeholders to prevent delays.
• Establish supplier relationships to drive on-time deliveries and mitigate risk.
• Support pre-SIOP activities with projections vs. actuals and PPV reporting.
