Job summary

Astro Mechanica seeks a Director of Marketing to build the brand and marketing engine from the ground up. You will craft the narrative, lead campaigns, and ensure our story is told with credibility across all external touchpoints.

You will shape strategy and execution, elevate leadership messaging, and collaborate with investors, partners, and government stakeholders. Bay Area preferred with remote travel flexibility, and a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in marketing, brand, or strategic communications.
• Experience building or reimagining brand at early-stage tech companies.
• Proven success running campaigns driving hiring and revenue.
• Outstanding writing and editing across exec comms, web copy, decks.
• Able to translate complex tech into clear, compelling messaging.
• Comfortable shaping strategy and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Astro Mechanica’s brand and marketing engine from the ground up.
• Craft the narrative, lead campaigns, and ensure messaging across external touchpoints.
• Lead design resources to produce high-impact content for investors and partners.
• Elevate leadership voices through thought leadership and executive communications.
• Partner with leadership on investor materials, decks, and updates.
• Build and lead a small, high-output marketing team over time.
