Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking an Inspector B for 3rd shift to inspect turbine blades and vanes and ensure conformity to production work instructions. You will train on 1st shift and rotate as needed, supporting a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role requires reading blueprints, taking precise measurements, and performing NDT inspections with standard inspection tools. Strong communication and continuous improvement mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Able to read blueprints and drawings.
• Proficient in taking measurements with inspection tools.
• Experience in basic dimensional/visual inspection.
• Certified in NAS-410 visual acuity (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Inspect blades and vanes; ensure compliance with work instructions.
• Perform incoming and final inspections on production parts.
• Use calipers, micrometers, comparators, rulers and meters to verify dimensions.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on various part types.
• Perform NDT inspections (airflow, surface finish, magnets, core).
• Report discrepancies and communicate issues for continuous improvement.
• Suggest opportunities for process improvements and support other duties.
