Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville is seeking an Assembly & Integration Technician to support engineering, production, and manufacturing teams. You will assemble, integrate, test, modify, and checkout aerospace systems from engineering drawings and work instructions.

In this role you will use precision tools, follow 5S, and assist in moving from development to production. Shift is B shift Mon-Thu 3:00PM-1:30AM; relocation available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or related field.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Hands-on assembly/integration of structural, mechanical, fluid, and avionic systems.
• Experience with precision calibration tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers).

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate subcomponents and final assemblies per specs.
• Configure production work areas to ensure efficient workflow.
• Operate precision tools to maintain safety and quality.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform tests, troubleshooting, fault isolation; ensure reliability.
• Support transition from development to production; perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain 5S clean work areas for safety and efficiency.
