Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Aerospace Technician to manufacture and assemble large-scale hardware for spaceflight systems. You will perform overhead crane moves, drilling, and assembly of tank components for the New Glenn GS2 second stage.

This frontline, hands-on role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, operating various tooling, and working on multiple shifts to support continuous production. A strong emphasis on quality, safety, and collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specs and test procedures.
• Experience with drilling and hole-tolerance requirements in aerospace assemblies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces.
• Experience with heat- and materials-handling safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture GS2 Second Stage Booster per written procedures.
• Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, work instructions and test procedures.
• Set up and operate precision tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, optical measuring instruments).
• Collaborate with diverse teams and maintain clear communication.
