Aerotek is seeking skilled mechanical assemblers for a military and defense facility in Santa Ana, CA. First shift 6am–2:30pm, with second shift available. Expect high-paced production aiming for 5000 units per month.

Responsibilities include mechanical assemblies, wiring diagrams, RF system testing, and soldering of harnesses and fixtures. Requires 2+ years in manufacturing and proficiency with hand/power tools.

Formación

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Proficient computer skills, including standard browser use and word processing.
• Working knowledge of common electrical components.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.
• Capability to adapt quickly in a high-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mechanical assemblies in a manufacturing setting, preferably within aerospace, electronics, or medical industries.
• Utilize common hand tools and power tools, including pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, depth micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, pressure gauges, multimeters, and specialized test equipment.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and follow assembly instructions accurately.
• Communicate effectively with engineering and production teams both verbally and in writing.
• Conduct validation and testing of electronic components using equipment like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.
• Assemble high-quality wire harnesses, test racks, junction boxes, and associated components, involving hand soldering and component fabrication.
• Troubleshoot electronic box assemblies and write detailed issue tickets for failures.
• Perform functional checkouts and tests, diagnosing any issues discovered during these processes.
• Integrate and test RF systems.
