Eaton's IS AER FMC division in Irvine, CA is seeking an Assembler II for the 2nd shift (2:30pm–10:30pm, Mon–Fri).

You will assemble parts with hand and power tools, inspect and adjust units, and use blueprints or work instructions. Requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years in mechanical assembly; no relocation; reside within 50 miles of Irvine. This role offers $22.50 per hour plus $1 shift differential and a potential incentive.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 year previous work experience in mechanical assembly.
• This position requires access to export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts or units using hand tools and power tools.
• Disassemble and assemble product returned for repair.
• Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to meet specifications.
• Determine tooling and gauging required to complete work.
• Comply with safety requirements and keep work area clean per 5S standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
