Job summary

Atterro in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Aerospace Assembler to join the 2nd shift. You will build aerospace components, inspect assemblies, and follow detailed drawings, bills of material, and work instructions to ensure safe, accurate production.

Training on the 1st shift will be provided. Must be able to read blueprints, use torque equipment, and work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR CFR 120.62.
  • Experience with mechanical assembly using hand tools and torque equipment.
  • Able to read blueprints, schematics, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 standards is a plus.
  • Clean room or controlled-environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble aerospace components and subassemblies using drawings, work instructions, and bills of material.
  • Perform mechanical assembly tasks including fastening, torquing, pinning, and installing hardware and inserts.
  • Verify part numbers, revisions, and quantities throughout the assembly process.
  • Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure they meet engineering and quality standards.
  • Use hand tools, torque equipment, and precision measuring instruments safely and accurately.
  • Document completed work and maintain accurate production records.
  • Follow quality procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.

$20.00 – $22.00 per hour
Schedule: 2nd Shift 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
Training on 1st Shift 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
