Qualifications

• Must have completed the first year of PhD by July 2027.
• Available to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027.
• Pursuing a PhD in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computational Science, Engineering, Data Science, ML or closely related field.
• Strong background in statistics, numerical methods, and data analytics.
• Proficiency in programming for data analysis (Python, R, C/C++).

Responsibilities

• Develop novel mathematical solutions and models for aerospace challenges.
• Contribute to research proposals and transition insights to software and tools.
• Collaborate with ETI teams to translate theory into practical algorithms.
• Assist in data analyses and experiments to validate approaches.
