You will collaborate with account managers and product teams to align customer needs with system-level workflows, driving adoption and revenue in Southern California. The role requires strong coding skills (Python/C++/Java/MATLAB), DME experience, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or PhD.
  • Proven experience using or supporting engineering software in a customer-facing role such as application engineering, consulting, or technical support.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, Java, or MATLAB with ability to write integration code or automation scripts.
  • U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a government TS/SCI clearance.
  • Strong technical communication skills to explain complex system-level tradeoffs to customers.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of the time to customer sites and events.
  • Experience with Digital Mission Engineering software (STK, ODTK, TETK) or similar tools; PLM/PDM/CAD are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery, product demonstrations, training, and proof-of-concept evaluations for Digital Mission Engineering software with aerospace and defense customers in Southern California.
  • Onsite deployment of software, implementation of best practices, and solving mission simulation and systems engineering problems.
  • Design and develop Python/C++/Java/MATLAB integration code to connect Ansys tools into customer workflows.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to identify and drive growth opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Partner with product teams to translate field feedback into roadmap priorities and test releases.
