Job summary

Hytek Finishes Co. in Kent, WA seeks an Aerospace Anodize Operator trainee to work under an experienced operator, processing parts for plating in the Anodize department and following Military, OEM, and customer specifications. FAA DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program may apply; initial drug test is required.

This is a full-time, non-exempt on-site role with 2nd shift and training on the 1st shift. Hytek offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching,

Qualifications

• Regular attendance is required.
• Ability to read/write English with coworkers and auditors.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced anodize operators to complete tasks and prioritize delivery.
• Follow technique cards, PO's and drawings to process parts and document steps.
• Prepare parts prior to operations including racking and tooling setup.
• Sign off on work after completion and conduct self-verification inspections.
• Review paperwork and notify supervisor/QA of any errors.
• Maintain knowledge of cleaning, QA requirements, and drawings.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and Kaizen events as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
