Axiom Space is seeking an AI&T Engineering Support Specialist to support EVA team by developing and maintaining detailed work instructions and procedures for training and flight spacesuit hardware. You will work closely with engineers, technicians, and SMEs to ensure accurate, compliant documentation and timely updates.

This role requires strong organizational skills, experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments, and proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering — Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Project management experience preferred; aerospace experience highly preferred (10 years) and technical writing (5 years) preferred.
• Ability to analyze complex data and translate into clear, end-user instructions.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence is desirable but not required.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsabilités

• Develop assembly, integration, and testing work instructions and procedures for hardware.
• Review and translate engineering drawings and specifications into user-facing procedures.
• Manage the document lifecycle from generation to retirement.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and SMEs to ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Support production schedules and project milestones as needed.
