Job summary

KBR is seeking an Aerospace Ground Equipment Quality Assurance Technician (AGE QA) at Morón Air Base. The role anchors quality and compliance for AGE/WRM operations, mentoring technicians and leading process improvements in a dynamic, international setting.

The incumbent serves as SME, guiding maintenance, cryogenics, HAZMAT, and TMDE programs, and works with government partners to drive zero-defect performance while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain US Secret Clearance.
• Minimum of eight years in aircraft maintenance, GSE, or related field.
• Minimum of three years in a QA/QC role within aviation.
• Experience interpreting government contract requirements (PWS) and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary QA authority for AGE department functions.
• Ensure operations meet PWS requirements and safety directives.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and surveillance using defined checklists.
• Audit records and ensure data integrity across ELMS, IMDS, and QMS.
• Lead corrective actions and mentor personnel on quality processes.
• Develop and deliver training on QA processes and safety protocols.
• Document QA activities with a clear audit trail.
