Textron Aviation seeks a 2027 Aerodynamics Engineer Intern to perform aerodynamic analyses and contribute to design across Textron’s aircraft lines. You will work with analytic data, wind tunnel data, and flight test data to support development and certification.

The role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and proficiency in engineering tools. You will engage in the full lifecycle from initial design to certification, onsite at Textron Aviation locations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Word.
• Programming experience in C/C++, Python, FORTRAN is highly desirable.
• Experience with wind tunnel data collection/reduction is a plus.
• Familiarity with simulation tools for trajectory/performance analysis.

Responsabilités

• Perform aerodynamic analysis and development using analytic and wind tunnel data.
• Develop models and tools with FORTRAN, MATLAB, C, Python or similar.
• Contribute to design, analysis, and certification of aircraft projects.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines across the product line.
• Apply 14 CFR Part 23 and Part 25 standards where relevant.
