Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a highly skilled 5-Axis CNC Operator / Setup Technician for Hebron, KY. You will independently set up and operate Makino 5-axis machinery and mill-turn lathes to manufacture complex aerospace parts to tight tolerances.

The role requires strong GD&T knowledge, blueprint reading, and a collaborative mindset to support program prove-outs and mentoring less experienced operators. Overtime and a team-first culture are highlighted.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC machining with 5-axis setup.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and blueprint reading skills.
• Experience machining aerospace parts with tight tolerances.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Makino 5-axis CNC machines and mill-turn lathes.
• Read blueprints and CAD models to plan setups.
• Install tooling, fixtures, and adjust offsets.
• Perform in-process and final inspections.
• Support program prove-outs with engineering and documentation.
