Job summary

ITW Automotive Group in Decatur, AL is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to uphold the integrity of all aerosol products throughout production. The role supports QMS development, CAPAs, internal audits and root cause analysis.

You will work with maintenance and line leads to correct deviations, perform data collection for SPC, and provide quality training to production staff while adhering to DOT specs and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in quality control or inspections preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Communicate production issues across shifts to resolve line problems.
• Maintain awareness of production schedule and order details.
• Ensure QA procedures and SPC practices are followed.
• Record data from can bottom burst tests on SPC sheets.
• Assist root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support QMS training for team members.
• Uphold 5-S and PPE protocols.
