Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Aeronautical Engineering Support for Hybrid SATCOM to help design, integrate, test, and sustain aerospace systems across aircraft, spacecraft, and missiles. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• Knowledge of Hybrid SATCOM architectures and airborne comms.
• Experience in systems integration, testing, and documentation.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate systems for Hybrid SATCOM on airborne platforms.
• Analyze aircraft comms requirements for compatibility with SATCOM networks.
• Support integration of SATCOM antennas, radomes, avionics interfaces, RF and electrical components.
• Conduct systems analysis, performance evaluations, and environmental assessments.
• Create and maintain engineering docs, ICDs, installation packages, and specs.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary teams to enable end-to-end SATCOM integration.
• Support lab, ground, and flight testing; troubleshoot and analyze performance.
• Ensure compliance with aviation, military, and regulatory standards.
• Analyze data to identify improvements and optimize mission readiness.
• Participate in technical reviews and customer meetings to communicate status.
