Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO is seeking an Aeronautical Engineer to join the Missile Flight Sciences team. You will perform fluid dynamic analysis, contribute to aero-environment modernization, and support post-test analysis for missile/hardware projects.

You will work across disciplines, present results, and help drive program milestones with top-tier engineering rigor. US citizenship and ability to obtain TS clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with CFD analysis and grid generation.
• Experience with CFD tools such as Ansys Fluent or Star-CCM+.
• Strong mathematical, analytic, and data processing skills.
• Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Use modeling and simulation methods to perform fluid dynamic analysis at various fidelities.
• Support modernization of legacy aero environments to inform missile hardware design.
• Support post-test analysis for diverse test projects.
• Own computational modeling and simulations from development to documentation.
• Collaborate across engineering fields and sites.
• Present findings to internal/external customers and stakeholders.
• Provide data packages and recommendations for peer reviews.
