Installed Building Products in Tacoma, WA is seeking an AeroBarrier Installer to professionally install AeroBarrier, improving energy efficiency and indoor air quality in buildings.

Responsibilities include site inspections, equipment setup, sealant application, blower door testing, and thorough documentation. Requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and comfort with hand tools; bilingual a plus. Mon-Fri, with Saturday shifts; pay $25/hr with benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Installation experience is a plus.
• Comfortable using standard hand tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to climb ladders and scaffolding.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to plan AeroBarrier installation.
• Set up equipment and prepare buildings for sealing.
• Apply AeroBarrier sealant per manufacturer guidelines.
• Monitor sealing process and adjust equipment as needed.
• Complete installations within scheduled timeframes with quality.
• Perform post-installation inspections and touch-ups.
• Conduct blower door tests to measure air leakage reduction.
• Document installation details and test results.
• Maintain records of materials used and hours worked.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Address issues raised by project managers, contractors, or homeowners.
