Job summary

Insight Global seeks an engineer to support design and analysis of aero-thermal and mechanical systems in Huntsville, AL. You will apply engineering physics, mathematics and materials science to develop solutions within an integrated design team.

The role requires 2+ years in engineering design, 3D CAD proficiency, GD&T knowledge, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Master’s degree is preferred, with exposure to MBSE and BPVC.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an engineering design role.
• Experience creating and releasing engineering drawings.
• Experience using structured hardware development processes.
• Knowledge of 3D CAD design software.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T principles.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Master’s degree or higher preferred.
• Experience conducting thermal or structural analysis.
• Experience using ASME BPVC.
• Experience in aerothermal analysis and MBSE.

Responsibilities

• Support design, analysis, manufacture, or maintenance of aero-thermal and mechanical systems.
• Independently contribute to an integrated design team and apply engineering physics.
