Job Description Summary

GE Vernova’s Gas Power business engineers advanced, efficient natural gas-powered technologies and services, along with decarbonization solutions that aim to help electrify a lower carbon future. It is a global leader in gas turbines and power plant technologies and services with the industry’s largest installed base.

Role Overview

Our Aero Services Senior Sales Manager is responsible for leading customer relationships across the entire Aero Services portfolio in the assigned region. The role involves managing orders, commitments, and convertible orders, developing account strategies, pipeline management, and negotiating deals to meet business objectives, while aligning with risk management and our SQDC philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell products, services, parts, solutions, or projects within the designated geographic area.
  • Interpret business challenges and recommend best practices for improvement.
  • Drive sales pipeline for complex transactions including parts, repairs, outage services, digital solutions, and long-term service agreements.
  • Develop and review deal strategies with internal teams and partners.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity data in CRM (Salesforce).
  • Evaluate information quality and lead projects with moderate complexity.
  • Negotiate internally and externally, influencing stakeholders.
  • Create demand through discovery, data collection, and insights.
  • Develop strategic account plans to foster growth and sustainability.
  • Lead proposal strategies to leverage GE’s strengths and meet customer needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business from an accredited institution.
  • At least 7 years of experience in sales, project management, or related fields within the power generation industry.

Preferred Characteristics

  • Experience with Salesforce platform.
  • Deep understanding of the commercial cycle, including product marketing and sales.
  • Strong relationship management and presentation skills, especially at the C-suite level.
  • Technical background with familiarity in Aero Gas Turbine offerings and LM technology.
  • Financial and strategic planning skills supporting P&L management.
  • Residence within 1-2 hours of a major U.S. airport preferred.
