Job summary

Candidates should have a BS or Associate Degree with at least 1 year in repair engineering or technical writing on gas turbines, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office; collaboration with multiple engineering functions

Qualifications

BS or Associate Degree in a related field with repair engineering experience.
1+ year in repair engineering and/or technical writing on aero engine components.
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent verbal and written communication; good organizational skills.
Teamwork across engineering, manufacturing and shops.

Responsibilities

Support In-Service Operations of fleets of aero engines (large, medium, small).
Develop repair solutions for structural and rotating engine parts.
Assist engine overhaul by providing repair solutions to salvage components.
Perform in-service issue analysis and non-conformance dispositions.
Write technical reports and substantiations for airworthiness requirements.
Develop repair procedures and modify repair/inspection manuals for fleet maintenance.
Incorporate Service Bulletins and design changes into repair manuals.
Contribute to process and tool improvements; promote best practices.
