Gulfstream, a division of General Dynamics, is offering a Summer 2027 College Intern position in Flight Sciences/Loads and Dynamics at the Savannah, GA site. You will work with senior engineers on static and dynamic loads, flutter analyses, and aeroelastic challenges while contributing to tool development and practical design assessments.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited university pursuing a bachelors degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with aero concentration.
• Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during Summer 2027, beginning in May 2027.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding).

Responsibilities

• Perform static and dynamic loads analyses for ground/landing gear scenarios.
• Analyze structural dynamic responses and load distributions for gust conditions.
• Conduct flutter analyses for nominal and parametric scenarios.
• Assist in development of new tools and methods for loads analyses.
