Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Weekend Days in Tempe, AZ. You will protect people and property by monitoring access points, patrolling the site, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced aerospace/defense environment.

This part-time role offers a supportive team, flexible weekend daytime shifts, and the chance to grow within a leading security and facility services company. A high school diploma and prior security experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age; 18 for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Ability to work a Part Time schedule and use computer/tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors per site procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor logs.
• Control entry/exit of personnel and materials while deterring unauthorized access.
• Respond calmly to alarms and incidents and notify site contacts or responders as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols and document observations.
