YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Selling Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" in developing and implementing the business strategy and leading the daily operations of the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into high-performing sellers who consistently provide an unforgettable guest experience. Through your leadership, your team always achieves their sales goals, maintains merchandising brand standards, and delivers operational excellence! Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Driving sales: As a key Leader on Duty (LOD), you excel at maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through an exceptional guest experience. You analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions and assist in developing short and long-term business plans to drive key KPIs.
  • People leadership: Motivating and inspiring your team through AEO's core values, you serve as a role model and hold your team accountable to uphold AEO's customer service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
  • Talent development: You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent, training, and developing your team to ensure outstanding service and continuous improvement.
  • Teamwork and engagement: Building a great team involves providing ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching, conducting team touch bases, development plans, and performance reviews, and celebrating outstanding performance to boost engagement.
  • Operational innovation: You execute and innovate daily operational procedures, support visual standards throughout the store, and ensure Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
  • Integrity: You maintain store safety standards, adhere to Asset Protection and company policies, and always do the right thing.
