Job description

YOUR ROLE As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading effective Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. You oversee daily store operations as needed. You motivate and train associates, aiming for strong sales results, and embody our company values by bringing your authentic self to work every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Drive sales: As a key LOD, you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and foster guest loyalty through outstanding in-store experiences. You collaborate with Store Leadership to meet KPIs and maximize business opportunities.
  2. Lead people: Motivate and inspire your team through AEO's core values. Serve as a role model, holding associates accountable to service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
  3. Talent development: Recruit, hire, and train strong talent to ensure adequate staffing. Focus on developing associates to deliver excellent service and uphold a Guest First culture.
  4. Teamwork: Set clear, achievable goals for Sales and Stock Associates, provide ongoing feedback, and celebrate successes to boost engagement.
  5. Visual & operational innovation: Execute and innovate visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising, and visual standards. Ensure the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
  6. Integrity: Maintain store safety standards, adhere to Asset Protection policies, follow company policies and procedures, and uphold ethical standards.
