Job Description

YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Merchandising Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" in developing and implementing the Merchandising strategy for the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into great merchants delivering AEO brand Visual standards every day. Through your leadership, your team always nails floorset execution, and rocks merchandising and marketing brand standards. You ensure the store is always "guest ready" through effective replenishment. Most importantly, you represent our company values and bring your REAL self to work every day.

Your Responsibilities

1. Driving sales: As a key Leader on Duty (LOD), you're an expert at maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, building guest loyalty through a top-notch guest experience, and analyzing reports and trends to make strategic decisions. You assist in developing business plans to meet KPIs.
2. Merchandising innovation: Coach your team to deliver an outstanding guest experience and maintain visual standards. Lead daily merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment, and identify opportunities for improvement.
3. People leadership: Motivate and inspire your team, hold them accountable to customer service standards, and embody AEO's core values.
4. Talent development: Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members to ensure excellent service and store performance.
5. Teamwork and engagement: Provide ongoing performance feedback, conduct touchbases, development plans, and performance reviews, and celebrate achievements to foster engagement.
6. Operational excellence: Execute daily operations, maintain visual standards, and ensure the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready, aligning with brand standards.
7. Integrity: Uphold store safety, asset protection, and adhere to company policies, doing the right thing always.
