YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Merchandising Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" in developing and implementing the Merchandising strategy for the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into great merchants delivering AEO brand Visual standards every day. Through your leadership, your team always nails floorset execution, and rocks merchandising and marketing brand standards. You ensure the store is always "guest ready" through effective replenishment. Most importantly, you represent our company values and bring your REAL self to work every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Driving sales: As a key Leader on Duty (LOD), you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, build guest loyalty through an exceptional guest experience, and analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions. You assist the Store Team Leader in developing business plans to drive KPIs.
2. Merchandising innovation: You coach your team to uphold AEO Brand Standards, manage day-to-day merchandising, adjust sell-through strategies, and maintain replenishment. You identify merchandising opportunities and act swiftly to capitalize on them.
3. People leadership: You motivate and inspire your team, serve as a role model, and uphold customer service standards on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
4. Talent development: You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent, and invest in training and developing your team to deliver outstanding service.
5. Teamwork and engagement: You foster team building through ongoing feedback, performance reviews, and recognition of achievements.
6. Operational excellence: You support operational procedures, maintain visual standards, and ensure Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
7. Integrity and safety: You uphold store safety, Asset Protection standards, adhere to policies, and always do the right thing.
