Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew with fiber/telecom installation and maintenance. You’ll provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members, reposition equipment, and help ensure safety and efficiency on job sites in Morgantown, WV.

Ideal candidates are 18+, authorized to work in the United States, with a high school diploma or GED or relevant experience, a valid state's driver's license, and a willingness to become a certified

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), with acceptable driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do
