Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew with fiber/telecom cable installation and maintenance. Duties include supplying tools, moving equipment, tagging work sites, and keeping vehicles clean and stocked.

Applicants must be 18+, have authorization to work in the U.S., and a high school diploma or equivalent. CDL and pole climbing certification are preferred or willing to obtain.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record (no Provisional).
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

What you’ll need
