Job summary

C Speed, LLC is seeking an entry level Aerostat Operator to support the DHS TARS program, including pre-launch to recovery flight activities and routine maintenance at multiple US sites.

Responsibilities include flight crew duties, subsystems maintenance, site operations, and operating ground systems. Candidates must be able to work a 24/7 shift and have a valid U.S. driver's license plus residency.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• At least 1 year in a technical field.
• Ability to obtain flight operator certification.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willing to work a 24/7 shift schedule.
• Proof of U.S. residency required.

Responsibilities

• Support aerostat pre-launch, launch, ascent, transition, station keeping, and recovery.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on subsystems and ground systems.
• Assist with pre/post flight checks and system inspections.
• Operate vehicles including man lifts up to 150 feet.
• Work in exterior and interior environments, sometimes in inclement weather.
• Coordinate site operations and maintain required documentation.
