Job summary

Helicopter Jobs is seeking highly skilled MD500 pilots for nationwide opportunities. The role involves performing aerial saw operations, low-level wire work, and coordinating with ground crews to ensure precise, safe project execution.

Applicants must hold FAA rotorcraft certificates, an appropriate medical certificate, and extensive flight hours with external load experience, including wire operations on MD500 helicopters. A CFII or related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current FAA Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter Certificate.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
• Minimum of 2,000 total helicopter flight hours.
• External load experience, including at least 200 hours operating in wire environments.
• Demonstrated experience operating MD500 helicopters.
• Ability to successfully complete a company interview and checkride.
• Current Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate or documented flight instruction experience.
• Previous experience in utility operations or aerial saw operations.
