Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
• Experience as a CATV construction lineman or completion of an apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial construction and coax splicing per codes and Mediacom specs.
• Read system prints and interpret design and operation of CATV.
• Install and lash coax or fiber; place and lash cables.
• Climb poles or operate aerial lift to place cables.
• Splice active plant and verify with signal level meter.
• Maintain safety and keep tools and workspace clean.
