Job summary

PUSH, Inc. is seeking an Aerial Lineman for local work to build and maintain aerial telephone systems. This role requires outdoor work, frequent travel, and hands-on operation of equipment such as Bucket Trucks and Diggers.

You will collaborate with customers and utility owners, ensure OSHA safety standards, and support crew development. The position emphasizes field experience, safety, and team collaboration, with opportunities for training and advancement within a premier telecom

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience as an Aerial Groundman.
• Valid Driver's License; Class A CDL preferred.
• Knowledge of electricity, pole-line materials, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Planning and initiating projects.
• Interacting with customers, utility owners and officials.
• Adhering to OSHA safety requirements.
• Assist in the construction of aerial and underground services and service upgrades.
• Training and mentoring of Aerial Groundman.
• Tree trimming or route clearing.
• Operate heavy equipment such as Digger and Bucket Truck.

Aerial Lineman (Local Work)

TheAerial Lineman builds and maintains aerial telephone systems which can consist of aerial and underground facilities.

Physical and Environmental Factors:

• Ability to work outdoors and to work in all types of outdoor weather.
• Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, carry, and lift as needed.
• Ability to coordinate eyes, hands, feet, and limbs in performing skilled movement.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

• Planning and initiating projects.

• Establishing and conforming to OSHA and customer safety requirements.
• Assist in the construction of new aerial and underground services and service upgrades.
• Training and mentoring of Aerial Groundman.
• Tree trimming or route clearing.

• Operating heavy equipment such as Digger and Bucket Truck.

Education and/or Experience:

• Work Experience: A minimum of two years' experience as an Aerial Groundman, preferred.
• Industry Knowledge:Thorough understanding of aerial utility installation, safety regulations and work methods associated with aerial line work.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License, Class A CDL preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
• Demonstrated field experience working with Aerial crews.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of electricity, pole-line materials, the proper and safe use of tools and equipment used in line construction and maintenance, be familiar with the aerial safety codes and practices, and work methods associated with aerial line work.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to maintain required equipment and tools.
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Abide all company and manufacturer safety procedures and industry safety standards, in addition to attending mandatory safety meetings.
