Job summary

Parkside Utility Construction, LLC is seeking a Lineman I Telecom to join the team. You’ll work alongside experienced Linemen to install and maintain fiber and telecom lines, ensuring safety and reliability for customers.

The role requires 18+, US work authorization, a HS diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Construction experience in telecom preferred; expect on-site work and potential storm-response travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Previous construction experience, preferably in telecommunications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of fiber and telecom cables overhead, and promptly repair any issues to ensure efficient and reliable service.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws.
• Maintain safe work areas so that traffic flows smoothly while on the job.
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Other duties as assigned.
