Job Highlights:

1. Full-time, Monday through Friday.
2. $60,000 - $90,000 annual salary.

Hiring Requirements:

• Valid commercial driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
• Completion of a recognized program at a vocational school/college.
• Construction work experience involving line technician work with four years of progressively responsible experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, construction methods, and technical documents.
• Apply electrical and safety codes.
• Fundamentals of electricity, theory, and basic circuitry.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Inventory maintenance, recordkeeping, safety, and loss control principles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, operate, and maintain underground and overhead facilities.
• Follow and modify maintenance or construction procedures within guidelines.
• Perform construction, operation, and maintenance of energized and de-energized facilities safely.
• Operate tools, equipment, and safety devices for utility work.
• Perform minor repairs and assess equipment condition.
• Complete work forms and reports.
• Serve as Supervisor when assigned.
• Perform UG cable fault locating as required.
